This is my first visit to Lanzarote, so wasn't sure what to expect. First impressions, Love it! It gets very hot at this time of year, but with the ever present winds, it keeps it feeling very pleasant. Although if you manage to find a spot out of the wind, it gets very hot indeed.
I also visited Fuerteventura during this visit, albeit for one day.
